Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, the terms used have the same meanings as in our Terms of Use.
  • Information We Collect
We collect information from users through platform integrations (Meta, Apple), app usage, and communications with us.
    • Information From Meta Horizon Platform
When you access or use the App through Meta’s platform (e.g. Meta Horizon), we collect limited data provided by Meta’s APIs:
      • User ID — Collected to create and link your account in our backend, authenticate sessions, and maintain secure login tokens.
      • User Profile (Username) — Used solely for identification during customer support or issue resolution. The Meta username is linked to your User ID in our backend. Profile photos and other personal details are not accessed or stored.
      • In-App Purchases & Subscriptions — Used to verify purchase entitlement, grant digital goods, and maintain records of active subscriptions associated with your User ID. Transaction data may also be used in aggregated form for internal financial analysis (never for advertising or profiling).
    • Information From Apple Vision Platform
When you access or use the App through Apple’s platform (e.g. VisionOS), we collect limited data provided by Apple’s APIs:
      • Apple ID (via Sign in with Apple) — We receive a unique, non-reversible identifier to create and link your account in our backend, authenticate sessions, and maintain secure login tokens.
      • In-App Purchases & Subscriptions — Used to verify purchase receipt, grant digital goods, and maintain records of active subscriptions associated with your Apple ID. Transaction data may also be used in aggregated form for internal financial analysis (never for advertising or profiling).
    • Other Information You Provide Directly
      • User Input — When you upload your content, regenerate context, add prompt, we need to temporarily store your file and input data to queue it to our GPU compute machine for processing from where the final result is delivered to you via our partner CDN network. Uploaded media and input data are not linked to your account and are not personally identifiable.
      • Customer Support — When you contact us through our support page or email, we may be able to identify you based on information you submit to us (Such as your Meta Username) and by comparing it with our backend in order to resolve your issue. This data is not linked to your account.
      • Analytics — We may also collect non-personal data (e.g. device type, crash logs, performance metrics) solely for troubleshooting and analytics. This data is not linked to your account and are not personally identifiable.
  • How We Use the Information
We use the collected data only for the purposes stated and do not process it for unrelated uses. Specifically:
    • Account management & authentication — linking your unique identifier (Meta User ID or Apple Sign-in ID) to your account in our system, issuing tokens, verifying sessions.
    • Transaction verification — verifying in-app purchases (IAP) and subscriptions via server-side checks, delivering in-app items or subscription benefits linked to your account.
    • Support & communications — when you contact us, we reference your username or account ID to assist with bug reports, transaction issues, or account issues.
    • Security and integrity — to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
    • Troubleshoot — to monitor and detect bugs, errors, crashes and run test simulation from available data and content to fix such issues.
  • Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
    • We may share limited user data (not identifiable) with third-party service providers (e.g. cloud hosting, analytics, GPU provider, CDN partner) strictly under contract, and only to carry out the above purposes.
    • These third parties are prohibited from using the data for their own headers or secondary purposes.
    • We do not sell your personal or platform data to advertisers or brokers.
  • Data Retention & Deletion
We retain and delete data as described below. Users can also request deletion of their data from our system at any time:
    • Retention
We retain user data only for as long as necessary to provide our services (for example, to verify active subscriptions or maintain past purchase records) or to satisfy legal, accounting, or dispute resolution obligations. Once data is no longer required, it is permanently deleted or anonymized. In limited cases, we may temporarily retain uploaded content for diagnostic or testing purposes related to improving service performance. Such retained data is not linked to any user account and is deleted promptly after use.
    • Deletion
      • Request Data Deletion — You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing admin@scopevr.fun with the subject line “Data Deletion Request” Upon receiving your request, we will verify your identity using your Username or User ID (to prevent unauthorized deletion) and remove all associated data from our systems and integrated third-party services within 7 calendar days (or sooner where technically possible).
      • Content Deletion — Uploaded content is automatically deleted from our servers at hourly intervals and purged from all cached CDN networks within 3–6 hours. Any remaining content due to technical limitations is deleted within 24 hours unless temporary retention is required for diagnostics or to comply with legal obligations.
  • Security
We implement technical, administrative, and organizational measures to protect user data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Examples include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system can be 100% secure. By using the App, you acknowledge some residual risk.
